If you spend any time online trying to figure out how much it’s going to cost to get some drone footage, you more than likely have learned that there are usually only two options. The first option, and the one you’ll see the most, is “call for a quote.” The second option requires you to select from several pre-packaged options. A third option, and the one I utilize, is al la carte drone pricing. In my case, I have cost estimators for every service I offer. This allows you to instantly determine what a drone service will cost based on several factors such as the size of a property, whether you need images or video or both, whether you need indoor as well as outdoor video, and whether you want your video edited.
Some will argue that displaying your prices for everyone to see encourages customers to shop for a better price. A customer may come to my site, get a quote, and then use that to negotiate for a lower price with a competitor. My response is to go for it. I know how much time and money I’ve invested in equipment, insurance, and training. I know that my prices are competitive. I also know that most customers appreciate not having to jump through hoops to get an answer as simple as, “How much is this going to cost?”
Another downside to publishing your prices online is that my competitors can use my drone pricing to set their prices lower. All this does, however, is create a race to the bottom. I charge a fair price and offer 100% satisfaction or you don’t pay anything.
Occasionally, there will be a project that my cost estimators can’t handle. In that case, you will have to call for a quote. Feel free to browse the drone services that I offer. Play around with the cost estimators. When you’re ready, give me a call and we’ll schedule your drone shoot and you won’t have to worry about how much it’s going to cost.
